August's jobs report shows that the U.S. economy continues to be strong under President Trump.

Let's take a look at the numbers:

2/ The unemployment rate continues to be at a historically low 3.7%

Reminder, the last time unemployment was this low before President Trump was **1969**

3/ Wages grew by 3.2 percent over the last year

This is the 13th month in a row where we've seen 3% or better wage growth

For all of the Obama Administration, we only saw 3 such months

4/ The economy added a health 130,000 jobs last month

Average new jobs over each of the last three months is 155,000

All while there continue to be 1.3 million **more** job openings than unemployed workers

5/ Buried lede in this thread:

Last month the black unemployment rate hit a new record low of 5.5% (before the Trump Admin, black unemployment had never been below 7%)

The Hispanic unemployment rate also tied its record low...previously set under President Trump

6/ Higher wages and more job openings don't just benefit current workers

571,000 Americans re-entered the labor force last month, a huge number of workers coming off the sidelines

7/ Totaling it up, since the President's election, more than 6.3 million new jobs have been added

This includes more than 500,000 manufacturing jobs and more than 3.5 million new jobs for women

8/ Long story short:

✅The unemployment rate is historically low 📉
✅Wages are rising for America’s workers 📈
✅The U.S. economy continues to be strong and add new jobs
