A Putin regime Tu-204 just entered 🇺🇦 airspace, coming from Moscow and heading for Kyiv.
Ukrainian hostages to be exchanged with Russian and Ukrainian criminals.
A complete failure of Europe’s efforts to convince 🇷🇺 to release its hostages without preconditions.
I just filmed it landing in Kyiv Boryspil.
Moved to the other side of the terminal to catch a bus leaving the vicinity of the Tu-204, accompanied by a black SUV.
Could not see if anyone entered or exited the bus. Several people around the plane.
45 minutes later.
No movement so far.
But I noticed a bus and black SUVs waiting near a Ukraine Air Force An-26 nearby.
!! Convoy from An-26 moving towards Tu-204, but stopped some 200 meters away from it.
Convoy passed the Tu-204 and is now heading towards the main terminal building.
Will reach me in a minute if it keeps track.
Not sure but could be the bus that left the Tu-204 an hour ago.
Convoy reached the terminal.
Several people in the bus, I would say. Some standing.
I’m not 100% sure though.
Windows of the bus are quite dark.
Two smaller busses approached the Tupolev from the other side of the airport and parked near its exit gate.
Few people moving around.
THAT WAS IT!
Putin has his criminals back - unpunished.
Tu-204 moving toward runway.
Only jet in many years towards Russia passes Kyiv Boryspil’s main terminal.
Flight RSD092 on its way to Moscow, probably with a person onboard that helped downing flight MH17.
Life is not fair.

Here is the entire Ukrainian government convoy including the important busses and ambulances.
I can still not say whether people were delivered to or taken from the Tupolev.
My feeling is that both happened.
Thanks to collective international failure to meaningfully pressure Russia into releasing its 🇺🇦 hostages without preconditions, the Kremlin propaganda is celebrating now.

Well done, @HeikoMaas and Co!
?!?!
Russian embassy to Ukraine published the picture unblurred?!
WELCOME BACK HOME!
Putin’s hostage just landed in Ukraine.
I am glad for them and their families to be reunited - Despite the heavy price, the world paid to the aggressor for this to happen.
Another proof that diplomacy with Putin’s Russia is useless.

My best two shots of today’s secret stars - at least for #AvGeeks.

Left: 🇷🇺’s Tupolev Tu-204-300
Right: 🇺🇦’s Antonov An-148-100B

Thanks a lot for reading my live reporting, hope you liked it.
Out.
