A pocket of land between Egypt and Sudan, that both countries are not interested in it, has now announced that it is a new kingdom 1/

A women with Lebanese roots called Nadra Nasif has formally announced that she is the PM of the new Kingdom of Yellow Mountain.
Other reports suggested that this Saudi guy is the “king”

The new “kingdom” claims it has a humanitarian mission to offer a state to refugees and immigrants.
But this is clearly nonsense. Its existence is based on exploiting the dispute between Egypt and Sudan on anothee regions Halayeb and Shalatiem 3/

Egypt’s claim on Halayeb Triangle is based an a Anglo-Egyptian agreement that put the area of “Yellow mountain” under Sudan.
So if Egypt challenge the new “kingdom” and claim it is Egyptian, it will have to give the triangle to Sudan.

Clearly some outsiders have decided to exploit the Egyptian-Sudanese dispute to grab the land that both countries are not interested in and declare it as a new state 5/

Some think the whole matter is nonsense and the “kingdom of Yellow Mountain has no future.
I beg to differ. Whoever behind that mysterious project aims to undermine Egypt’s national security. 6/

If you looks at twitter accounts linked to this new Kingdom, like this one @sultan1976m you will noticed that they are Islamists, pro Turkey, and anti-#UAE.
That is enough to raise my suspicion about what is going on at #Egypt’s southern border.

In short, some mysterious bunch are trying to implant a new “kingdom” between Egypt & Sudan.
That is dangerous for both countries. Therefore, it is time to solve border dispute between Egypt and Sudan; prevent that pseudo-state from materialising in real life.
