[Thread] In the case of the imprisoned academic Kylie Moore-Gilbert this is highly irresponsible reporting from @TheSun and a gross misrepresentation of the Sunday Times article it 'reports'. The Times reports that Kylie was researching Iran's relationship with Bahrain's Shi'a
while the Sun reports that Kylie was researching the links between Bahrain's 'Shia Uprising' and Tehran. It may seem subtle to some but there's a big difference. The Sun article is suggesting Kylie was researching Iranian espionage in Bahrain, while the Times is talking about
broader social and cultural ties. The Sun are directly implicating Kylie in what would be considered sensitive activity, and not helping her case, while also misrepresenting the article they report. I suggest you change it @tariqtahir . Also it's not a Shia Uprising... #FreeKylie
