Gosh, look who is a fan of due process all of a sudden.
You see this is why fusty old concepts like due process and the rule of law are actually quite important. Because even if breaking them affords you some sort of short-term political advantage, you’ll be screaming for their protection when you find yourself under scrutiny.
Conclusion to this Saturday morning law lecture: the rule of law matters to all of us. Even if we don’t think it does.
