This wasn’t some rinkydink group of deplorable racists. The video was shown at a Trump 2020 re-election campaign conference. Attendees included Don Jr, Sarah Sanders, FL Gov DeSantis & Tim Murtaugh, campaign spokesman. Nobody acknowledged seeing their own social media agitprop.
I can’t help but think of Niemöller’s poem looking back at Hitler’s rise. Media crucified Clinton for calling out the deplorable Trump supporters. Had they focused on the racism, misogyny & xenophobia, they might not be in the crosshairs of these vile extremists now in our WH.

Trump knows the conspiracy theory about Ukraine & the DNC server is fake. He made clear he knew Russia hacked the election when he told Putin's men in the Oval Offc he was NOT concerned they interfered. Judging by the reception & secret info he gave them, he was quite grateful.
Tom Bossert may think Trump believes his own propaganda. I don't. I think Trump believes he gets away w lies when the media repeat them. That's always worked for him. I think he keeps pushing the Ukraine conspiracy theory to take the heat off Russia, to please Putin. #UkraineGate
Trump & his propagandists lie purposely. They don't care if the claims are clearly false, even crazy. All that matters is that we keep repeating the lies. Even fact-checking lies has an impact. Some will doubt, be confused about what's true. That's the point. As @Kasparov63 says.
