First, his cancellation of the attack on Iran. Now this. If Senate Rs start turning against #Trump on #impeachment, it's b/c of THIS--because he's not a reliable enough trigger-puller for the neocon warmongers of both parties.

Of course, even he can't get completely out of the neocon grip. Note that US troops r NOT being withdrawn from #Syria, only "pulled back." i.e., they won't fight a Turkish invasion, but will be there as tripwire should gov of Syria try to take back control of its own territory.

Because the #Kurds, now seeing what fools they were to ally with the US, will now likely negotiate a resolution with #Syria which they would much prefer to Turkish occupation.

Even #Turkey will consider to negotiate w #Syria under Russian mediation, to avoid a direct military battle with SAA, leading to resolution that preserves Syrian territrorial unity & sovereignty. THIS is what necons could not forgive #Trump for permitting.

And one doesn't understand any of this unless one understands role of Israel in determining US policy & influencing US politics in general.

For all his bluster, Trump knows when to be scared of & avoid a fight that will certainly hurt and not benefit the US--unlike the missionary (whether religious or secular--all Zionist) interventionists like Pence, Obama, Bush, & all the Dem contenders (exc poss #Bernie & #Tulsi).
