2/ That was after a rout exacerbated when we reported that Piraeus was under pressure from the SSM to raise 500m via Tier 2 and all 4 lenders to speed up the cleaning of their balance sheet. We explained the problem here with links to our scoops: bloom.bg/2M3dqe0
3/ We followed all the twists and turns of all the other plans floated, including one by the Bank of Greece to use deferred tax claims. The FTSE/Athex rose 5.4% when we reported this plan last year: bloom.bg/2QFNntg

5/ Then a year later, @NikasSotiris and yours truly reported all the details of the APS scheme (`project Hercules') submitted to DG Comp of the EU Commission, including that it would probably be approved. Again, Greek bank stocks rose on the news: bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
6/ Then yesterday, we reported the approval would come today. And it did.
