@ithoughtadviser Investing for others is a responsibility. The experience has to be good for every investor. In my view, this can be accomplished only if the investment model is right. To my mind, the time invested in developing & designing the investment model for #SolitairePMS is its strength.
@ithoughtadviser Multiple approaches exist in #PMS space, each with its merits. Not all investors can take the rigeur of aggressive investment approaches. Most investors want a #PMS to do much less than it does. So, it is crucial for the #PMS to do less and deliver more. Lower activity is better.
@ithoughtadviser Investment choices is a very sensitive terrain. Should a manager buy well known names, investors often think that they can do it themselves. But, a #PMS strategy needs to be viewed as a composite. While a few known names can provide stability, others will provide performance.

@ithoughtadviser If monthly performance had been the yardstick of my own PF, i wouldn't have achieved even a fraction of the returns i managed. The key to investment success is to not race against others. It is making unique choices & watching them grow. Gestation is critical; waiting is an art.
