(I'm asking because I've tried on 3 different browsers and got 3 different results. I think it's based on if I searched for it in the past on that browser or not, and if I'm logged in or not. Amazon's algorithm is a bit of a mystery. Thanks!)
Thanks everyone! So it looks like it shows up 5-7 with "slay" and 1 with "slayi". Really appreciate all the help, and the very very quick response. (It shows up 1 with "slay" in the browser I already visited the book landing page with before.)
Added: it looks like if you're searching the .co.uk from outside the UK, you have to type 1-2 letters more than if you're in the UK. It's all fascinating. Amazon's algorithm has no doubt been put together by a warehouseful of stats experts.
Added: Thank you again so, so much. I'm being deluged with searches! You're all brilliant. Conclusion is that there is some variation, but not a huge amount. Seems to be lower down if you're browsing the UK store outside the UK. Beyond that, it's a toss-up.
