I have presented 2 possible reasons for the kamikaze impeachment push by the Dems.
1) State Dept wants to keep its global money laundering going.
2) The Dems want to play the ‘Trump can’t appoint someone to SCOTUS while he’s being impeached’ card.

Trump’s admin and the State Department have been at odds from day one. That a confrontation like this erupted the minute he started asking about where exactly aid money flows is not surprising at all.
The timing with Ginsburg... it could be just a coincidence. Or the State Department feud was an easy angle for which to trigger the current shitshow.
