I realize global lawmakers and regulators haven’t had the political will or jurisprudence to depose Facebook executives and independently audit the integrity of Facebook’s business, fake accounts, likes, metrics but I sure hope they still remember Enron. politico.eu/article/social…

Reminder, Facebook’s self-disclosed and unaudited (no they haven’t passed an industry audit on this the last I checked) “Fake account” population would be the third largest country on our planet.
And it’s exactly why my 5-alarm went off when Facebook intentionally buried a “major operation” that was actually a purge of millions of fake accounts and fake likes of news properties after election and then their CTO seemed to not even know about it.
