Far from it.This is d moment Bharat finally recognises d snakes living amidst it & that demographics is truly destiny.Wat started off as an initiative 2 weed out illegal immigrants & help persecuted minorities in d neighbourhood has awakened d hitherto apathetic Indic population.
2.Those who wish to unfollow me because they don't agree with my views on NRC/CAB,pls do me a favour,do it ASAP.I have never believed in holding any view just to be popular.I stand by my views no matter how politically incorrect they are.I couldn't care less if my views hurt u.
3. I have never cared for the reasons ppl "follow" me on Twitter or any other platform. I am not here to tailor my views to suit anyone's politically correct expectations. If you can't stomach my views,it's your problem, not mine.
4. If I have to choose between what I believe is critical for this country and its civilizational identity on the one hand, and being popular on the other, I will hands down choose the former *every single time*. If that affects ur impression of me, I don't care.
5.I don't support d NRC/CAB because it has been initiated by d current Govt.I wuda supported it no matter who initiated it because it is important for Bharat.D fact that only this Govt is doing it is sad bcoz it shows that such an important issue has become severely politicised.
6. In almost *every* talk of mine on illegal immigration/citizenship for Indic refugees,I have criticised the current Govt for not doing enough to address both issues. Therefore, wen finally d Govt has started moving in d right direction, my support is for d cause, not any party.
7. If you mistake my support for the cause as my blind support for any party, it only proves your stupidity. My approach has always been issue-based and taking into account the availability or paucity of options which can further the Indic interest. That's the bottom line.Period.
8. I would ideally prefer a situation where all political parties compete with each other to advance d Indic interest because it is in national interest.Since that isn't d case unfortunately,I have to make do with what I have in terms of options *in the interest of the cause*.
9. The reason for this thread is because a few individuals reached out on DM or thru comments expressing their naive objection to my views. If u can't look past a political party & focus on d issue, u shudnt project that approach on me. In fact, I pity you for your myopic vision.
10.Come hell or highwater,my focus was,is & shall remain d same -preserving,defending & furthering d Indic civilizational identity within d Constitutional framework.I have candidly said as much in almost every talk of mine.I judge ur comprehension skills for not paying attention.
11. So please take ur naive, uninformed & yellow-bellied *hurt sentiments* elsewhere and cry a bucket or an ocean. I repeat, I couldn't care less for your sentiments if you are incapable of understanding the sheer gravity of the problem which will rear its head in *our* lifetime.
12. FYI, my position is perfectly defensible within the framework of the Constitution and I dare is, in fact, vonsistent with it. Your problem is that you know you don't have a counter to my position bcoz u don't know beyond Art 14 nor do you understand even Art 14 well :-p
13. Since you can't rebut my position on the Constitution, you fall back on *hurt sentiments* hoping that an argument based on popularity & political correctness will force me to change my views. Nope, not happening, never. As I said,I will not reorient my compass for popularity.
14. Just because ur reading of d Constitution is utterly devoid of its context & is in sync with your rootless & deracinated existence, don't expect me to agree with that position. The Constitution is a civilisational document & must be read as such. It was not written in vaccum.
15. Here is the link to the full text of the letter dated May 22, 2012 written by CPI(M) General Secretary Shri Prakash Karat to the then Prime Minister Shri Manmohan Singh on the issue of grant of citizenship to persecuted minorities of Bangladesh- archives.peoplesdemocracy.in/2012/0603_pd/0…
16. The link is from the archives of the weekly organ of CPI(M) called "People's Democracy". In the letter, Shri Karat writes as follows:
17. He further writes..
18. "Lakhs of families are affected, the majority of them from Scheduled Caste communities like namashudra, pondra khatriya, majhi etc."
