@nsitharaman @mygovindia Dear ma'am, now that all religious institutions are under the ambit of GST. Temples using funds to run Ayurveda colleges, Sanskrit universities, skill center must be exempted. This will ensure funds gets directed to re-skilling Indian workforce!
@nsitharaman @mygovindia Also could govt please start addressing the unfinished home-inventory problems asap. Most of the home owners are falling in the gap between RERA and the reluctant builders. A lot of funds that could spike consumption is locked in unfinished inventory. (2)
@nsitharaman @mygovindia Low hanging fruits such as stationery, textile industry falling prey to cheap chinese imports should have some metric based on export capacity, employment generation for receiving subsidies/tax exemption from govt on raw material cost/finished product price. (3)
@nsitharaman @mygovindia A lot of missionaries organizations took land on 100 year leases during pre-independence. These leases are now expiring. GoI could look at adding such land parcels to land banks for Infrastructure construction. (4)
@nsitharaman @mygovindia GoI would be well advised to pick up the beleaguered properties and finish them on war footing. Not more than 25k crore would be required. This would close the loop instead of making it worse by creating a fund and then putting a trust and then a metric for qualifications.
@nsitharaman @mygovindia All this adds to the red tape, caused more harassment of already harassed flat owners and does nothing to revive the economic consumption in the short term.
@nsitharaman @mygovindia To close the loop, all that GoI needs to do is pass an ordinance that: GoI would be taking over all unfinished properties across the country and completing them on war footing. The bill for this would be no more than 25k crores! 🙏
