The United Kingdom has been illegally copying classified personal information from a database reserved for members of the passport-free Schengen travel zone.
It has shared the information with US companies and it is demanding to keep access to the database after it leaves the EU next year.
An internal EU document, seen by EUobserver, listed years of violations by Uk authorities following restricted access to the Schengen Information System, an EU-run database used by police to track down undocumented migrants, missing people, stolen property, or suspected criminals

If #Conte resigns Pres Mattarella will hear representatives from all parties & decide whether to: a) let PD/5Stars form a new govt; b) install a caretaker govt to pass the budget; c) call a snap election. Italy hasn’t seen a general election in the fall since 1919. 2/n
The reason for avoiding elections in the fall is the national #budget: deadline for approval is Dec 31. #Italy must send a draft of its 2020 one to @EU_Commission in early Oct. Running a campaign, an election and installing a new govt in the midst of it all is no joke. 3/n

Tragically what the #CorruptGOP doesn't seem to get is that because they are not dealing in facts, & they are propagating falsehoods to their base, an entire generation of Republican voters, workers, apparachik's at every level; the U.S.A. loses ultimately. There are
People basing real decisions, at real jobs- both public & private sector-on false information. We have the most powerful military, biggest Economy, in the most industrialized nation in the world making Domestic & Foreign Policy based on fasle information.
This can & will end only one of two ways. Either we reverse course before catastrophic consequence or we experience what could be the most catastrophic multi-national event that has occurred since WW2 & the most grave consequences since our Nation's inception nearly 300 yrs ago.
