Serious question: can someone explain to me what the suspicions are here as they tie up to Soleimani's assassination?

That said, I want to understand how the fact that the Trump Org kept doing business despite knowing that money laundering was involved (what else is new) somehow ties to Soleimani's killing, if at all.
Note: I'm not suggesting that anything this administration does is logical.
