Here's the thing about the #CAA. Govt Ministers say repeatedly that it's objective is to help Hindus and other faith migrants who had to flee majoritarian relig. persecution. If that was the sole objective then how would it NOT have been met with Sec 2 amended as below? How?

If the Govt cannot argue that my proposed amendment would NOT HAVE helped Hindu etc persecuted migrants then they will have to accept that the sole purpose of EXCLUDING muslims in #CAA was to discriminate against them. That's as maybe.. but there's worse to follow...

If you consider #NPR and #NRC, it is clear that with the #CAA implemented, the only Paperless and Document-light people who can be suspected of being economic migrants from #Pak and #Bangla and therefore packed off to a detention camp will be #Muslims. Most of them will be Indian

So now you can see why protesting against #CAA and therefore saving themselves from the dragnet of #NPR and #NRC is not merely a choice they make. It is a question of their survival as Indian citizens. And we should all support them.
