The president promised that if he got a 2nd term “no one would lose coverage, everyone would get insurance, and health care will be a lot less expensive.” By 50-38, voters in these Trump states said they do NOT believe he’ll keep that promise. Again, these are Trump states. (2/5)
Next we probed voters’ beliefs about Trump & Medicare, asking: “If given a 2nd term, do you believe President Trump would cut Medicare?” In all 5 swing states, a plurality believed the president *will* cut Medicare in a 2nd term, with a 46-31 margin across all five states. (3/5)
