There were a few videos from last night. Most important one is this which appears to show a cemetery morgue dedicated to #COVID19 victims in Qom. There are literally dozens of bodies and the voice claims it is the new normal for them.

Another one is a disturbing video from Arak, central Iran, which shows a collapsed individual coughing/retching while the public waiting for an ambulance. #COVID #irancoronavirus
Another video of the situation from another eyewitness - very disturbing - as the individual seems to be gasping for air.
An update on the number of MPs with positive #COVID test: it has risen to 23 - previous reported number was 20.

There are dozens and dozens of reports on the complete lack of antiseptic and preventive supplies in drugstores and even hospitals. Also on hoarding, export while in shortage and unconfirmed reports of systematic corruption - simply cannot post them here as they are unconfirmed.

You know how bad it is when China sends a charter to bring back 200 students from Iran! Guess where are they? Qom, the #COVID epicentre.

It had been reported 700 Chinese students in Qom were the source of Coronavirus. So it seems they do exist.

After Qom, Kashan, Bandra Anzali and Rasht now we have "Code Red"/"Red Status" in the holy city of Mashhad. In a meeting with the governor and caretaker of the Mashhad Holy site.

I reported a collapsed patients by the phone booth late yesterday.

A 30 year old woman is the latest victim of #COVID19 in Lorestan province in central west of the country.

Now another collapse today in Varamin, south of Tehran.

This is Sarbander, Khuzestan province in the south west, the voice is using vehicle's megaphone to announce "Code Red"/"Red Status". He also asks the driver to sound the siren.
Shortage of medication in Rasht, Gilan province, is pretty dire and the public queue for hours in front of Red Crescent. Yesterday fight broke out among the people on the queue.

I gathered some alarming information on the rise of #COVID in Iran in this thread. I can see that it has been read by many hence increases my responsibility on what I share now.
As I stated before:

- I am not a trained reporter or journalist
- I am not based in Iran
- Not affiliated with any poilitical group, for or against the government
- Most of my information comes from the internet with occasional conversations with people in Iran

Coronavirus epidemy in Iran has past the crisis level. The country is imploding - law and order to disappear in the next days. A number of officials already died and mass infection among hospital staff and police forces reported.
#irancorona all of this, why?

The regime hid the initial cases since:
1) it was just before election and needed high turnout
2) due to political need, did not stop flights to china
3) source seems to becleric students from china arrived in Qom
4) did not close religious shrines
5) instead of providing information on the gravity of the risks to the public, played down and resorted to the same tactic of rhetoric “we will fight and beat it”

Now it has spread everywhere. The world now has an example on what failure to contain the virus can do.

#Thread based on witness accounts of 6 girls (my roommate's sister & friends) reached my one room home in morning who were present in protests:

1) Protest was completely peaceful. We were shouting slogans such as "Awaaz do hum ek hain", "Tiranga humara hai, Modi Awara hai", 1/n
"Modivaad se azaadi", "We want justice". No anti Hindu slogans were raised. We just wanted to march to parliament.

2) Jamia doesn't have a union, student president etc, we never do protests like JNU. Yet when JNU, DU protests, no one enters their campuses, but they entered ours!
Is it because we are a Muslim university? (This is been said by Hindu girls by the way).

3. The police beating us in protests were in jeans and Tshirts, wearing anti riots gear. We don't even know if they were police or miscreants. Just like miscreants may have entered protests

At least 10 loyalist KIA including 1 on Jub Ahmar (#Latakia/#Hama border)

HOWEVER May 6 was also 'martyrs day' so Facebook was flooded w/ old martyr posts making collecting accurate data very difficult.
7 of these deaths were #Tiger_Forces w/ 6 from #Taha_Regiment's Maskana Group and Omar Naqr Group (pic)

Jub Ahmar death was from #4th_Division, although I was told there were many other deaths here not reported on loyalist social media.
