Just as important, former UAW President Gary Jones waived his right to a grand jury indictment to allow the filing of a criminal information. Meaning his lawyers are not disputing the charges & he is preparing to plead guilty.
This connects to the GM RICO case against Fiat Chrysler. In that suit, GM alleges Fiat Chrysler bribed UAW officials to screw over GM in labor negotiations to line their pockets helping Chrysler against GM.

Apparently Jones' aide Nick Robinson plead guilty a few days ago to cooperate with DOJ.
The current charges stem to activities that began in 2010, taking advantage of the bail out powers & a DOJ that wasn't looking...

Then when the bailout occurred Deripaska gave money to the Clinton Foundation to get picked to control GM after the Obama Admin take over.
