US prosecutor Michael Krouse moved to preclude two expert witnesses for Hasheminejad, among them a proposed testimony from @tparsi on ‘de-risking’ because neither of these witnesses were qualified to discuss the concept.

Krouse said Parsi had never worked for a bank or in bank compliance, nor had he published any articles or conducted any scientific studies about “de-risking”.
Me:
The fact that Parsi, founder of @NIACouncil, is involved in this case shows its importance for #Iran's regime.

My thoughts:
Parsi has been careful to maintain his excusable distance form #Iran's regime by resigning as NIAC President & co-launching the @QuincyInst think tank.
His involvement in this case further indicates his continued & direct ties to Tehran & the regime's interests.
Apologies for the typo.
