However the WHO won’t do testing in eastern Syria because the US makes sure to isolate its own SDF partners there from any aid or international support or connections...even though you have hundreds of thousands of IDPs and also ISIS detainees and families. #CrimesAgainstHumanity
The SDF has learned that partnering with the West against ISIS was a one way street to being totally isolated and in the worst pandemic to be kept from basic support. Unlike allies of Moscow and the Syrian regime and Ankara, all of which get access to the UN and support.
It’s an attempt by the international community, backed by NATO, to deny services and basic human rights to people in eastern Syria and now during the pandemic to deny them even access to the WHO and testing. This is a face of UN, NATO, EU, US when you hear about “human rights” 
Washington says it “got the oil”, while Russia and Turkey partition the rest with joint patrols, but even though the regime has returned to the cities the regime won’t allow the UN or WHO access to those areas but keeps the former SDF checkpoints
So if you are in Raqqa or al-Hol or Qamishli...well too bad...no access to international support during the pandemic apparently. You’d think when it comes to a pandemic that things would be borderless, like viruses are...not just “well you chose the wrong side so too bad”
