Everything that follows is UNOFFICIAL. However, it will be captured on a specific landing page on QIAGEN Digital Insights that will go live with on Friday. In the meantime, I wanted to get the message out ASAP.

Tons of labs globally are already using CLC for microbial genomics work, including SARSCOV2 bioinformatics analysis. To support these labs, and those that may not have CLC already, we will be providing a collection of resources to help them with their work. This will include...

Licenses for CLC Genomics ProSuite for local, on-premise installation. Currently, these licenses will expire on June 15th, but we may extend them as needed depending on how the pandemic is shaping up then.

The CLC Genomics ProSuite includes CLC Genomics Workbench, CLC Microbial Genomics Module, and CLC Genome Finishing Module. We also encourage you to install the Long Read Analysis Plugin if your working with @PacBio or @Nanopore data. Details here: digitalinsights.qiagen.com/research-and-d…

We're also creating workflows/tutorials on how to assemble, ID, and analyze SARSCOV2 with @nanopore, @illumina, @thermofisher ion torrent, and even Sanger sequencing data. These workflows are intended as guidelines on how to best use our software, not as diagnostics tests

The workflows and tutorials should be available on Friday as well and linked from the CLC COVID19 Bioinformatics License landing page - I'll the link once I know the exact URL... 😉🙂

We're also creating a series of training sessions that we'll be hosting as online webinars with live Q&A sessions specifically for SARSCOV2 bioinformatics analysis. The first will be April 2nd and will focus on basic assembly, variant calling, and strain ID.

Further training sessions will include comparative genomics, using metadata for outbreak tracing within CLC, primer and targeted NGS assay design, protein modeling, and epitope mapping. Further details coming. A sign-up page will be on the CLC COVID19 Bioinformatics landing page

Please contact our sales team at [e-mail] and reference the need for a "CLC COVID19 Bioinformatics License". They will qualify the request with you and then issue a license that will expire June 15th. In the meantime...

You can also download CLC Genomics Workbench here digitalinsights.qiagen.com/downloads/prod… and get a 14day trial instantly after installing the software. This should hold you over until our licensing team issues you the extended license.
