1/5 Interesting anecdote on #monkeypox. Someone I know through works in a local hospital, in housekeeping/environmental services.

2/5 She cleaned a #monkeypox positive patient's room without personal protective equipment (PPE) because her colleagues thought it was "no big deal." After all, she is not a gay man or a man who sleeps with men (MSM).🤦🏿‍♀️

Insane.

3/5 She contracted #monkeypox, positive test confirmed, and she showed up to a family funeral repast recently "to help out," wearing an N95 mask, nitrile gloves and a gown, with active lesions.
