#SaudiArabia & the United Arab Emirates are unwilling to stop the war on #Yemen, the worst world humanitarian crisis, to lift the siege & to seek peace. @JoeBiden administration lied when promised to stop the war. There is no international will to cease the massacre of Yemenits.
In 2018, #Yemen Houthis retaliated against the two airports Dubai and Abu Dhabi to push the Emirates to stop their intervention in Yemen. That stopped the advance against Hodeida and resulted in the #Stockholm agreement. Today's attack is a message and a reminder to leave Yemen.

She didn't want to end up a statistic. She chose to leave a volatile living situation & move to a safe place where she began the process of living for herself & living for her children.
She chose life not abuse. She chose her kids over her partner. She chose smiles over tears.

She told all of us that she had been planning for over a year to leave & was on the verge of leaving when #Covid19AB happened.
She was scared/afraid/had panic attacks not knowing how to help herself let alone her children. Then she saw us on @GlobalCalgary with @global_leslie.

Let's breakdown this myth that depression means doing nothing. This was one of the worst depression weekends I've had in a long time and here's a list of what I did (thread):
Thursday night: 8hrs organizing
Friday: 17hrs cleaning & organizing
Saturday: 14hrs filming & editing video, posting video, responding to emails, drafting board documents, paying bills, invoicing

2/ Les points de départ de cette affaire sont les 2 sites ma-petite-pharmacie.fr et combattonslecoronavirus.fr. Une simple visite sur les sites en question permet de voir qu'ils sont similaires. Seuls les logos changent

It's #WorldAIDSDay and I thought I would share my story in a thread. I was born with #HIV HIV in 1998, full blown AIDS by six weeks of age due to poor care. (my mom was an alcoholic & addicted to crack & was barely able to get by herself). At six weeks of age I was in a coma.

At six months of age they wanted to move me to a foster home for palliative care. They called more than 200 families and no one would take a baby dying of #AIDS.

They were told I had a month to live and they decided they were going to give me all the love they could for whatever time I had left.

My "#Education & #MentalHealth" grad course has made me realize that Princess Elsa was forced to suppress her powers to create ice and snow so she could be "normal." She was later labelled a monster, which is discrimination against people with "disabilities." âïžđž #ableism

Getting help for mental health issues in #gradschool can be hard. There are so many people needing help and often just not enough resources. Wait-lists can be long on campus. Going off campus can be really expensive on small already stretched budgets.
I got counseling when possible which was vital, but also sought out other options. @UFGatorWell was a great program that isn't a mental health service, but has academic wellness coaching which helped me make strategies, make a plan, and start working.
