FinOps, it's as bad as FinDev but at least slightly better than DevSecFinBizOps ... still, it's good to see people take notice of how practice co-evolves with activities. The only depressing thing is in two years, is this really the best meme we can find. Someone do better ->

... this is not voodoo skills of prediction but basic application of repeating patterns driven by supply and demand competition. This was circa 2015 stuff (the post is 2016). It really does help if you learn to map because then you won't be caught out by the fracking obvious.

"Privacy" is not a good word for what we're talking about anymore, but we seem stuck with it. "#BigData" "#IoT" "#AI" have changed the game, but folks too often take a narrow view of privacy. This was on full display at the FTC's discussion on #adtech: ftc.gov/system/files/d…

Is the Airtel/K2 transaction a merger or acquisition? What does it mean for K2 customers? Has @UCC_Official approved this transaction?
The Airtel/K2 transaction is neither a merger nor acquisition. It's a brand endorsement arrangement, were K2 entered into agreement allowing @Airtel_Ug to use her Trademark, Brand name (K2 Telecom) & Resources to market @K2Telecom products & services to customers @UCC_Official
Under the Brand Endorsement Agreement, K2 customers will continue enjoying the same or similar services with a different code prefix (0708). The customer migration will be voluntary. Customers will exercise their contractual right to either move to Airtel or not.

#Today's story to #EndFamilySeparation Four months ago, Dad and 4-month-old entered at the Texas/Mexico border and requested #asylum. Dad and child were immediately separated and the baby put in ORR custody. #FamiliesBelongTogether
Dad was detained in a #Texas detention center where @RAICESTEXAS consulted. Dad accepted a deportation to be quickly reunited w/ his infant child. However, the Dad was deported & NOT his child. The now 8-month-old baby has been in ORR custody for 4 months. #EndFamilySeparation
The Mom and Dad now have once weekly Skype calls with their 8-month-old baby. That's right, folks. They Skype with an infant. #EndFamilySeparation #FamiliesBelongTogether

We welcome this initiative by @NITIAayog, but a call for comments would have been a welcome addition. The paper takes important steps forward from the #AI Task Force report released earlier this year by the DIPP, Ministry of Commerce and Industry (dipp.nic.in/sites/default/…). 2/n
This paper attempts a more holistic look at a broader range of issues concerning AI including #regulation, #ethics, #fairness, #transparency and #accountability. However, a number of issues still remain with this paper. 3/n
