If you still support Trump (esp. as a Christian), after what he did to the MCCain family then this nation will never heal.

There used to be things most of us could agree on. It was that preciously small number of things that functioned as the mortar between our bricks.

And one of those things was most certainly that even when we disagree with much or even mosr of a person politics or ideas, that when that same person had given their life to the service of others or our nation that we put our egos aside and acknowledge that.

At the very least we don't mock/spit on their memory like an indignant child refusing to shake hands w/ a competitor simply for being better than they.

And McCain was better at being all of the good things than Trump could ever hope. Not the least a human being.

You don't have to like or agree with, nor point out every sin a person committed in order to believe that the social contract, to which we are all signators and that used to actually exert some governing influence on our actions, requires that respect be shown for the dead.

Especially when that dead person was an actual, verifiable hero and you're a sociopath that's either stolen or had everything you've ever had given to you.

I realize that for many civility is hard. Humanity is hard.

But I'm here to tell you neither should be.
