THREAD--BREAKING NEWS: @GeorgePapa19 attorneys filed his Sentencing Memorandum late last night. Several interesting points exposed. First, Papadopoulos requests sentence of probation terminated instanter, meaning when court sentences him court also terminates probation period.1/ 
2/ Likely "biggest" news is Papadopoulos' attempt to garner favor w/ Trump & throw Sessions under the bus. Memo is replete w/ praise for Trump and announcing loyalty to Commander-in-Chief BUT then adds that in meeting when he announced connections w/ Russia claims Sessions said
3/ "campaign should look into it" while nodding w/ approval. MSM will run w/ this. Question is whether Trump will too.
4/ Next, memo took to task Special Counsel's RIDICULOUS claim that Papadopoulos' lies prevented them from properly interviewing Mifsud. Papa's attorneys noted that at time of interview FBI, "APPARENT" that Papa was lying. That's understatement: FBI lying or incompetent

6/ Memo also distinguishes b/w "ability" of lie to impact investigation, which makes it material so it is a crime, and Mueller's "speculative" claim that lie actually did impact investigation, relevant for sentencing.
7/ Also of interest: Papadopoulos told Greek foreign minister in May 2016 "Russians had dirt" on Hillary and that was days before Putin traveled to Greece to meet w/ officials. Did Greece communicate this info to US? Anyone?
8/ Also IMPORTANT:FBI ASKED Papadopoulos in Jan. 2017 if he'd contact people they'd discussed, including Mifsud. Papadopoulos said "yes" but why not wire Papa & have him "meet up" w/ Mifsud in February in U.S.? Seriously, if Mifsud was Russia connection-why didn't FBI DO THIS!
9/ Papadopoulos attorneys took high road: Frankly admitted Papa LIED. Mueller's team tries to make Papa look bad by his wife's statements to press but SHE is not being sentence AND Mueller's lie about Papa's lie impacting question of Mifsud will likely destroy Special Counsel's
10/10 credibility. And Papa memo does great job distinguishing 30 day sentence (other guy lawyer, knew what he was doing), and pointing out his 12+ months waiting sentence he was under probation terms basically. Prediction: Probation sentence of at least 1 year. END THREAD.
