Gaslighting about Nazi history is today’s new low. Trump said he’d never heard of “nationalism” used for a racist ideology. Jim @Acosta specifically asked whether it’s coded language. Trump said (in his high-pitched🤥tone): I’ve never heard that theory about being a nationalist.”
Nationalism is Trump's election strategy: He openly embraces it but pretends its meaning is divorced from bigotry & history. His gaslighting is heard loud & clear by the world's racists & anti-Semites. It’s about time media state plainly: The US president is hostile to Americans.
