Anyone who tells you APC/PDP are corrupt is either copiously ignorant or simply being mendacious. Every mortal is susceptible to corruption and this is only tamed by lack of opportunity with the closure of institutional cum systemic gaps. A goat will always eat when able.⛱
You lose the argument when you tell the populace not to vote anyone because they are corrupt. That by itself is a statement of the very corrupt felons seeking to brainwash their way into office or perpetuate themselves in office. Power belongs to the people. Know what to demand.
Those who bleated for Change thought that the perceived political messiahs of these world would mend the gaps, but it is obvious that we’ve all been shafted as the gaps were only widened, while stealing of public funds persists by those venerated for their pseudo integrity.
No Nation grows under deliberately weakened and balkanized institutions. Those who justified the proliferation of con men in our institutions based on ethnic extraction and closeness to the man they worship a tin god, can see how the cookie crumbles. We are worse for it now.
There is no political acronym these recidivist will come under that will change anything. For those late to this class that started 10years back, read up my earlier posts. All forecasts had been spot on like a script. I should know a thing or two, given the 99.9% accuracy streak.
We are working on something that just might change the expectations. Pray for the young minds putting their heads together for the future of our children. The legacy political parties will not change much without our collective involvement in the know. We must have our say.
Universal Institutional Reforms across board is the key. There are ways to achieve this but the will is what we have to build on. You can’t trust yourself enough with the gaping holes in the system with a bureaucracy raised & trained to identify gaps in the system for graft.
Add the pressure of political interests and opportunists who have over the years sponsored and smuggled hirelings into the civil service. Take account of campaign financiers and politicians with war chests loaded with looted public funds for over 8years & the hungry public.
Then see why Change comes as a sacrifice for Power and Power MUST be sacrificed if you are bent on making a formidable and sustainable Change. In the technical sense real power belongs to the people when empowered with political education. That is the Light required.
Our focus must be on individuals that show competency, capability, capacity, conscientiousness and perspicacity. The political parties are mere vehicles. The truth is that they would never have emerged without a working strategy or an obvious systemic rigging within that hub.
We must check the sentiments and focus on what is real. No single individual can heal a nation. It is a collective effort and the messiah myth will always fail. What we must focus on is an enlightened Leader void of ethnic & religious bigotry, who can tame his Ego.
Leadership must be deconstructed to recognize the key ingredient of recognizing competencies and employing one’s weaknesses. The ability to allow others plug into your platform and express themselves in line with the holistic vision is what will pull us out of the woods.
