A quick thread for researchers that are interested - I got started on @Avery1776 thread but will move it to here.

Q1: How much did we miss in Guccifer’s wordpress blog?

Q2: Is there more light in there than we saw at the time?

For instance: Take a look at this memo to Debbie Wasserman-Schulz regarding IL-10 congressional race.

Seat (at the time) was held by a Republican despite favoring Obama.

The goal is to get Schneider to run.

If you scroll below you see this chart, which describes Republican & Democrat “IE Spending” in previous races.

For whatever reason, this race was important enough for VP Biden (himself) to make a call, trying to convince Mr. Schneider to run in IL-10 race.

It has the same exact chart in it from before.

It is perplexing for several reasons:

1. I’m not a campaign finance guru

2. I’m not sure what $Ask1 or $Ask2 even mean

But I do know what $10.3m means - here’s a letter from Pelosi asking for donations on this upcoming race.

In any regard, it appears there is a significant amount of attention put into both getting Mr. Schneider to run... and fundraising as a result.

Interestingly, a closer look at the chart raises more questions?

“Other Democratic Spending” - $4.7m

Spent on ‘R’?!?!

And where does Pelosi get $10.3m being spent by R’s?

That is close to the entire total being spent by both sides (per this chart).

Is there funny business going on here?

I’ll ruin the surprise - I don’t have the answer. But there is stuff in there that raises eyebrows.

Something that may help (if anyone wants to look) is Nancy Pelosi had fundraising for “R2B”, which stood for “Red to Blue”...

Mr. Schneider was one of them that she was raising funds for.
