This is exhausting for me: I am endlessly tired of having to argue that criticism of Israel and the way it wields power is not antisemitic.
I cannot imagine how much more exhausting it is for @IlhanMN and @RashidaTlaib whose very existence as Muslim women of color is read by so many as already dangerous to Israel.

@IlhanMN @RashidaTlaib Thinking back to birtherism: how a black President was imagined as Muslim therefore both *scary* and *illegitimate* and definitely un-American. Why Chelsea Clinton's "as an American" hit such an awful note.
@IlhanMN @RashidaTlaib So Omar, who is actually a few of the things they accused Obama of being--Muslim, born outside the US--is viewed as already a threat. And her own party would rather treat her the same way.

@IlhanMN @RashidaTlaib So: this isn't the first time and won't be the last time Omar (and Tlaib) will be accused of being something other, dangerous, subversive *based on who they are* which is the logic of antisemitism.
