His Excellency @MBuhari CC: @elrufai @abellodam With the deepest decorum I ask on behalf of Nigerians suffering under impunity of security forces and growing malevolence of gun men across Nigeria. The lives being lost are lives of fellow Nigerians we all share humanity with.
Politics will forever differ, but just as you don’t like being confronted, we as a people don’t like being stereotyped especially by those who owe us a duty of care in the highest office in the land as governed by the constitution. Can we mend the gaps ever? 🤔
You may have deemed activists opportunists but you sure know deep within you sir those that genuinely know their opinions with track records spanning years. I don’t count myself as anyone or anything but you know Prof @ChidiOdinkalu whom we all revere & regard globally.
If indeed people are being killed in Kaduna, or anywhere in Nigeria for that matter, these are human beings and the people need to be engaged. You can’t do this alone. This is a matter of urgent national emergency and you owe us a level of responsibility.
Excellency, we mean no disrespect. We all can agree that he that alleges MUST prove & we’re asking as Human Beings, Citizens, & responsible Fathers who seek the peace of our nation. If this was borne out of misinformation by others, let us know. To err is human. We will forgive.
Some of us engage the @PoliceNG across levels and understand this is their jurisdiction. If we can’t corroborate the occurrence with their supporting information and evidence while people live in fear & trepidation of reprisal, what becomes of our election?
Nation building is a collective responsibility and you need us as much as we need your responsible leadership and clarity on matters of state. Some of us do what we do out of love for our country despite the action of those on Govt payroll seeking our downfall via blackmail.
We are more than interested in this allegation of 66 human beings that were killed as announced by the office of the HE @elrufai and we appeal that he grants Prof @ChidiOdinkalu the audience to look deeper into this alongside other CSOs. @citizen_gavel @AbdulMahmud01
The Hon @MinOfInteriorNG @abellodam can broker this meeting in the spirit of National Unity. All lives must matter in 🇳🇬& all allegations of this magnitude must be seen to a logical conclusion even as a critical election approaches. Do accept the assurances of my high regards. 😞
