Minister @JZarif resignation has nothing to do with President Assad's 2 hours visit to #Iran. It is related to accumulative reasons.

Many in #Iran question President Rohani and @JZarif about the outcome of the Nuclear deal. What Iran has gained from signing off a deal with Obama? As the deal was revoked by @realDonaldTrump, there is a large wave in Iran accuses the team who orchestrated as incompetent.
Iranian's Leader Sayed Ali Khamenei warned Rohani and his team that the #USA cannot be trusted, ever, and that the deal won't hold for very long, even before @realDonaldTrump became President.
Zarif is among those, with Rohani, responsible for what Iran is going through today
Iran is suffering from lack of cash. Nevertheless, the Iran nuclear deal is at a critical point. #Europe offered words to #Iran but doesn't dare to make the necessary step to compensate the #US embargo. Therefore many voices are heard today asking to pull out of the deal.

This #ISIS wife is saying "Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is in #Baghouz but this is what she heard. Her husband and other men decided to stay behind.
Baghdadi ordered all women to leave but seems gave the freedom for men to decide for themselves if they stay.

Listening to this woman, #ISIS wife, I understand the strong faith she has in her cause, in Baghdadi, in the safety/ success (victory) of her husband left behind. She uses praising words when mentioning Baghdadi and expresses a conviction of her decision

This #ISIS woman is #Syrian from #Damascus. She may be very young (from her enthusiasm in delivering her conviction). But my point is: she will definitely raise her children on the path of #ISIS unless she changes her mind later (for some reasons).

Many feel pessimistic about this article. No good choice for Damascus:
- either the US withdraw & Turkey take al-Hasaka
- or Turkey and US remain in Syria occupying each a part of the country

The only other far alternative is in the hands of the Kurds.

If the #Kurds join, fully, the Syrian government and stop acting as a human shield to the US occupation forces, the #USA will no longer feel safe and will have to leave. This is the only plausible scenario where the damage is limited.

Otherwise...+

The US wants to see a buffer zone (13,000 sqkm) in Turkish hands. This means the YPG and their families, including all those rejecting a Turkish control, will have to leave.

Idlib, under jihadists control, is very dangerous for the authority of Damascus. This is the priority.

When @JZarif says, "#Iran never raced towards a bomb, nor will it race towards a bomb," rest assured it is the exact opposite.
We will realize how Tehran sought nuclear arms for decades. For a country sitting on an ocean of oil & gas, a "peaceful" nuclear program is meaningless.
A very telling cartoon about #NorthKorea & #Iran, as Pyongyang signals indications to set aside its nuclear weapons/ballistic missile program. This is leaving Tehran as now sole target of the international community's soon-to-come pressures.
