This is a serious and important message!
So @TeslaCharts tweeted this chart to @CitronResearch today claiming $TSLA Model S is a dead platform. Let's look into this and see whether there's any truth to this claim.

1) Why did he use Netherlands' sales data?
Well, because from Jan 1 2019, BiK tax went from 4% to 22% for EVs over €50,000. This of course affected the sales of expensive EVs like Model S. Here's a comparison of Jaguar I-Pace sales data from Q4 to Q1 Jan + Feb in Netherlands.

2) Netherlands' BiK tax change did not have the same effect to cheaper EVs. This can be seen from Netherlands' February sales data, where Tesla Model 3 was the most sold EV. Thus using Netherlands data for his Model S chart is very questionable.

3) Unfortunately I don't have Spain's EV sales data, but we can use Norway's data for comparison as there hasn't been similar changes in taxes as in NL. Before doing the comparison, there is one another trick of @TeslaCharts ' that you should know about.

4) And that trick is to compare quarters that are not really comparable. For instance, here you can see the difference in Norway's EV sales data between Q4/17 and Q1/18. You think this is fair comparison? Let's use Q4/18 data anyways...

5) So let's compare Model S Norway sales from Q1 and Q4 in 2018 and QTD from this year. We can see that QTD 2019 is trailing behind Q1 and Q4 in 2018. With this data we can say Model S sales are weaker today. But let's take this further.

6) Why did @TeslaCharts use only Model S data in his chart?
Let's look at Norway's Q1/18 and QTD/19 sales data for Model S and X combined. When looking this year-over-year Q1 comparison, Tesla's QTD/19 sales have just passed QTD/18 sales, although it's too early to say for Q1/19.

7) Now let's also throw in the Model 3 sales to take into account Tesla's all EV products to have a better picture where the company is heading. I'd say the outlook looks quite positive for $TSLA:

Summary:
Are the Model S sales declining? -Using this limited dataset, yes.
Is the Model S a dead platform? -No way in hell!😄
Is @TeslaCharts cherry picking data to create FUD? -Most definitely!
