Not that it meant they were literal women, & if I disagreed that biology existed or lesbians were bigots if they don't do dick, I was a transphobe who should die in a fire
@VictoriaPeckham @PatrickStrud When we were told you don't have to transition to be trans, that woman is now simply a belief system, material reality is irrelevant, a woman is 'anyone who identifies as a woman' (brexit means Brexit anyone?) How can we define women's rights if we can't define who is a woman?
@VictoriaPeckham @PatrickStrud When we were told that Alex Drummond, who sits on the Stonewall trans advisory group, is a woman because she identifies as a woman & therefore she should use women's changing rooms, refuges etc & it's bigoted to object to a bearded male-bodied be-penised woman in these spaces 
@VictoriaPeckham @PatrickStrud When in the #MeToo era we started telling girls & women 'don't worry if you see a man in the women's changing rooms, they know better than you'
@VictoriaPeckham @PatrickStrud When the fact that Philip Bunce wore dresses to work a few days a week meant he became a literal woman (on his Philip days as well, or just on her Pippa days?) & was named one of the top 100 women in business, taking the place of a woman in a male dominated industry
@VictoriaPeckham @PatrickStrud 20 years ago women weren't being erased from discussions about female bodies, the very root of why women are oppressed
@VictoriaPeckham @PatrickStrud 20 years ago being a masculine woman or a feminine man meant expressing your personality. Now unless you conform to regressive gender stereotypes, you're now labelled transgender & under the trans umbrella.
