A statement from trans pride after Peyton Rose is charged over calls for feminists to be "throat punched."

They *do* have a policy against violence and harassment. But in reality feel any violence and harassment is understandable, justifiable, and not the perpetrators fault.

If women refuse to submit to the idea that biologically male people are female just because they say so, then really they only have themselves to blame when they are threatened with violence.

It was a "tongue in cheek" comment = I was only joking - can't you take a joke?

"The world is not kind to trans people... we believe a little understanding and compassion is necessary in these difficult circumstances." = You made me do it - if you were just nicer, kinder, had no boundaries, then I wouldn't have to threaten to hit you.

"Peyton has not been removed - she has taken the decision to withdraw for her own safety." = Deny, attack, and reverse victim and offender.

These justifications are straight out of the abusers playbook. I used to work for Women's Aid and am trained to facilitate the Freedom

Program. I have heard these lines over and over and over again.

Violence against women is unnacceptable. Full stop. The end. We don't have to believe what you believe.
