NEW: Here’s our Boris-Trump story in tomorrow’s @Telegraph.

Includes this snippet - senior US admin figures are talking up a Boris-Farage pact, believing it could keep centre-right in power for years.

Story with @gordonrayner: telegraph.co.uk/politics/2019/…
Well-placed US sources believe Trump will reach out to Team Boris for a meeting even though officials are against the move. Would be a notable breach of state visit convention.
Boris and Farage camps say nothing is in the diary yet.

Farage tells Telegraph: “I haven’t pushed it. I will wait to see what happens.”

Winfield House, the US ambassador’s residence, would be most likely location.
UK official says no formal request for a Boris or Farage meeting has been made by White House.

But doesn’t rule one out, saying what president does during his private time in Britain is up to him.
All has echoes of this 2008 row, when Brown was seen to have endorsed Obama over McCain (leading to major back-peddling by No 10).
