The Saudi regime has made enemies across the world, and especially among the people of their own region. It's unable to do anything about this since its toolkit is only a bonesaw and loads of cash. All the coercion and bribes in the world won't buy you real friends.
And so their frustration shows with this highly promoted tweet from one of their centrally-controlled Twitter propaganda accounts: Screw everyone. Because when you can't reach out to anyone, you just yell "screw you all" into the void. It's pretty much an admission of failure.
"My country first" here is "my country only", but even worse - it's "everyone hates us but we don't care, screw you all". But screw everyone and then what? All the leverage this regime has on the world is summarized in three words: oil, money, ISIS.
"Screw the world" and then what? Rely upon your marvelous industrial base? Your large agricultural output? Your innovative IT sector? Your skilled diplomacy? Your soft power? Your inspiring vision for the region's population? Your unbeatable armed forces? Your cultural output?
The Saudi and UAE regimes *will* crash. Sooner or later they will crash. And when they do, they'll crash hard. The only question is how much destruction they'll visit upon the region - and their own societies - before, during, and after their crash.
