Reacting to news that Mueller agreed to testify about the Russia investigation, Meadows called the whole thing a "sham" orchestrated by Democrats to "harass" President Trump.
"I just find it just unbelievable that here in Congress tonight, we find out about this on the House floor. They don't even go through normal protocol to let the minority know," the North Carolina Republican said Tuesday evening.
"They broke House rules. I'm not sure the subpoena is valid because you can't issue the same subpoena from two different committees of jurisdiction."
