Dear Unemployed Young Man/ Woman living under a dictator,
Do not believe the LIE that the reason you are suffering is because you don't have the right or enough education! You have no job because the despot & his co-conspirators need an army of unemployed youth to keep wages low

Citizens of countries with full employment don't all have degrees or pursued "technological/scientific/ business" education. They just contained & punished public corruption & instituted democracy allowing citizens to depose them at the next elections when they fail to deliver

All countries are endowed with scholars who have an important role in the advancement of various sectors of the country. But a decent country needs & deploys ALL her citizens. Everyone plays an indispensable role in the proper functioning of the nation - with or without degrees

Let's illustrate using the military structure & command as an analogy

A commander leading an army has senior officers in charge of various branches of the military. It's up to him to deploy them as he sees fitting to win the war;
A leader of country has citizens, patriotic & ready to build a nation. The youth, like soldiers are to deployed to work

If a war is lost because the commander failed to deploy huge portions of his army, the idle soldiers can't be blamed for the commander's failure to deploy them. It's the commander to blame. Similarly a clueless despot who fails to employ youth is solely to blame & must account

It's the dictator's duty (which he sadly usurped) to create employment opportunities for ALL the youth of his country.
Where regular employment is dearth, he must arrange to employ the youth to work but on a living wage until they can secure regular jobs. He mustn't fail

In the military such failures as demonstrated above almost inevitably lead to dishonorable removal from post & court martial. Why should your dictator not be tried & convicted of failure to deploy/ employ you to build your country?

Sadly many young people living under dictators will go to school at great expense to their families, earn diplomas & degrees & then live the rest of their lives without employment - thousands of job applications & interviews notwithstanding! It's a monumental waste of resource

When faced with his inability to make use of the human resource at his disposal, the dictator resorts to subterfuge: he blames the victim of his (despot's) ineptitude. Other excuses: Lack of experience; Non technical subjects; He should've studied science.. physics, chemistry..

All those are easily disprovable LIES. Among the thousands of unemployed youth there are those with those very qualifications or who pursued science or technical fields. They too are unemployed. The truth is the dictator is clueless on how to deploy the manpower of his nation

In many dictatorships today the despots pursue a policy of curling the youth. A not so secret war has been launched against the Youth. Mass incarceration, extra Judicial killings & forced exile are part of the process to reduce the number of unemployed youth in despotisms

We know that the dictatorship of Eritrea actively nudges young citizens to flee to Europe; knowing that many will perish on the way or die in prisons of other dictatorships. If they survive the Mediterranean sea, Eritrea routinely refuses to take back her own deported citizens

Lately it has become fashionable for dictators to forcefully exile own youthful citizenry in a selfish, illegal & crime against humanity self-preservation attempt.
The more clueless they get in the face of #MassYouthUnemployment the more desperate & brutal the measures they take

Cameroon is openly killing young people especially boys. In Kenya, the police broke into homes in Kisumu & Siaya counties to pull out young boys & execute them before putting their bodies in already procured body bags for disposable in Lake Victoria. Some bodies were recovered

Therefore when you see thousands or millions of unemployed youth in a dictatorship, know that the dictator is clueless. Do not blame the youth. Inform the youth that it is NOT their fault. It's the dictator who is unable to deploy him/ her to build the country s/he loves

Advise him or her not to trek in the Sahara desert or stowaway in some ship or undercarriage of a plane!
Instead s/he should demand the right to work & earn a living wage. If the despot is unable to deliver he (despot) #mustgo away & allow the nation to function democratically
