A #mention is a Twitter term used to describe an instance in which a user includes someone else's @username in their tweet to attribute a piece of content or start a discussion.

For example:
@EANBoard or anyone from the #SoMe4Epis list

Over to the fun: #memes

They are an idea/fashion/behaviour that is shared through media, speech, gestures, and other forms of communication

The term was conceived by evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins in the '70s, but it has taken on greater relevance in the digital age
An example of a famous #meme:
the #GrumpyCat, who had 2.7 million followers on Instagram.. but sadly passed away last May
(memes and merchandise are still going strong...) instagram.com/realgrumpycat/
More fun: #GIF, stands for Graphics Interchange Format. Pronounced as ‘jif’

Check them out, and use them here giphy.com

A #bot is a software application that is programmed to do certain tasks.

Bots are automated, which means they run according to their instructions without a human user needing to start them up.

An example of a bot, is the @threadreaderapp (see below)
Over to more usefulness:
@TweetDeck: a Twitter tool that provides users with a way to manage their Twitter presence through custom columns.

Lets you manage multiple accounts, schedule your tweets, and more. Browser based.
