1. Now I'm being falsely attacked by @Facebook's official account.

I did not "edit" Facebook's statement.

I left out "Any suggestion otherwise is baseless" because: 1. No one made that suggestion, and 2. It was redundant!

This post suggests I acted unethically which is false
@facebook 2. They are also including a thread from the EIC of The 74 saying I didn't ask him about Brown's current role.

But I did ask Brown, through Facebook, and she choose not to respond. So promoting this tweet is particularly dishonest.

I'm being smeared for accurate reporting
3. I believe this is the first time Facebook has ever attacked an individual journalist through its official account.

Facebook is panicking because I am telling the truth.
