So Manafort, had connections with AFL-CIO & tried to use them. Would the AFL-CIO really bite? I doubt it, so it seems like the approach may have been little more than a feint to help write a story like this later if a reason to justify Hillary's loss was needed...

But one of the AFL-CIO officials lied about the contacts, so maybe there is some meat to this story.

Still claims no meeting took place & not deal achieved...

Of course, the middle man in the deal is unavailable for comment because he is in prison on unrelated charges!

AFL-CIO has long been in the pocket of the Dems. Could they really have been tempted by the ultimate in deal makers with Swamp creature Manafort serving as intermediary?

The union didn't put much effort into Michigan, but said that was because if Hillary couldn't win Michigan without a push then she was going to lose the election.

The Richard Trumka head of the AFL-CIO met with Trump during the transition at Trump Tower.

My followers know why that may be very important!

The TT transition meetings have a series of issues:
Friends of Hillary trying to get access to Trump.
Meeting in TT after Adm. Rogers supposedly warned that it was wiretapped.
Before Trump tweeted out that it was wiretapped.

So why would Trump move his transition team out of the tower because of surveillance, then take meetings there with Swampy people who might be offering him bribes for access?

If you haven't noticed, there have been a lot of union leaders getting busted by the FBI on corruption charges. I am guessing that this NYTimes piece is a preview that much more may be on the horizon!
