Content & revenue models by media type...
... if assume social media & digital distribution had always existed, how might the above models & comparisons be different? If social drives old content (eg back catalogs), pretty sure it changes monetization model for games, music & news?

Social media is not a breakthrough technology. Its simply recreating want human beings naturally do already via a more efficient method. Social already structurally sat above / in the middle of these other mediums in physical world. Natural that same thing would evolve online.
That social media creates increased engagement for new music, games, TV shows + increases value of long dormant content further cements social media (as a distinct media channel, or as an integrated smaller feature) at the center of media going forward.
