1. Of course, Barak Ravid is unknown in America. But in Israel he’s thought by some to be a big gefilte fish. Apparently, he’s an avid Levin follower. Ravid is also a liberal Israeli journalist.
2. Now, Barak, Israel is the ancestral home of all Jews. Not just leftist Jews. Not just Israeli Jews. As a Jew who is an American, I care deeply about what occurs in and to Israel.
3. Indeed, I speak often about Israel on all my media platforms. Moreover, Israel and the United States are the strongest of allies. And while I don’t pay taxes in Israel, some of my taxes go to Israel.
4. While I don’t vote in Israel, my vote in America impacts Israel (e.g., Trump, an avid Israel supporter as opposed to, say, Sanders, who’s deeply hostile to Israel).
5. Moreover, I dare say I know more about the law, including the law relating to these bogus charges against Netanyahu, than you. Apparently, I also know more about freedom of the press and free speech than you.
6. Oh, and it’s called passion, not rage, Barak. Now, how about you try a bit harder to practice objective journalism rather than worry yourself wondering why this Jew cares about what happens in Israel.
7. Admittedly, I probably care more than many liberals who actually live in Israel.
