Very interesting information on Gladio and NATO. 
They arrive in Alghero by night, from Ciampino, also base has a small landing strip, with shielded portholes of airplanes, they get on buses with darkened windows that lead them to the camp. Only when they have crossed the iron gate can they look around: ricerca.repubblica.it/repubblica/arc…
They see a barrack with façade painted yellow, flagpole & tricolor flag. But they can't see majestic promontory of Capo Caccia, nor lights of Alghero: highest & most panoramic areas of the 80 hectares of base are off-limits for gladiators who do not have to know where they are...
