@YouTube I'm totally out of my comfort zone by being up here speaking, however I feel it's necessary for all the women & girls who are being forced out of theirs by men pretending to be women.
I won't be using the words Transwoman because language is important, they are men,

@YouTube not male bodied not women in any way, simply men.

I’m a mother of three a grandmother of two & Prior to my youngest being born I was a senior children’s domestic violence worker.
My profession is domestic violence, I specialized in women & children escaping DV,

@YouTube no that doesn’t mean I believe all men are sexual predators, of course they're not.
But the facts are that the great majority of sexual assaults are carried out by males against females even more so in unisex spaces (AKA gender neutral ).

@YouTube Unisex spaces allow predatory men easier access to take advantage of women & girls and as it stands there is not 'maleometre' to determine which men that might be.

Men who state they are women are being allowed in single sex women’s spaces, into women's refuges,

@YouTube not only putting incredibly vulnerable women & children in danger but also gas lighting them by expecting them to use female pronouns to a person who is male.

I've seen children hit the floor and scurry like beetles under the nearest table at the mere sound of a man's voice,

@YouTube I've worked with women who've escaped from men with only the clothes on their backs & their children, I've dealt with the horrendous aftermath of children who've been murdered by men.
Imagine those women & children coming to a safe female space to find a man in the next bed.

@YouTube The youth hostel association is allowing men in single sex dormitories simply because they say they're a woman, again putting women and girls at risk.
The Caledonian sleeper train allows men in the women's sleeping area as long as they say they are women.

@YouTube The girl guides allow boys to sleep in the tents of girls & use their showers if they say they are female yet girls who say they are male are asked to leave.

@YouTube Men are allowed to compete against women in sports, mediocre men are beating top female athletes & ruining women's sports

Many high street clothing companies such as Marks & Spencer

@YouTube are putting women & children at risk by allowing men to choose which changing room they use based on their gender.

All of these organisations continue advertise as single sex.

@YouTube My 12 year old daughter could be getting changed after swimming or using a public toilet in the same space as a grown man with a beard and full genitalia while her dad is made to wait outside simply because that man says he’s a woman,

@YouTube she and most 12 year old girls would be terrified.

The Police are allowing criminals to state their preferred gender, including rapist which means a victim of rape would have to refer to the perpetrator as her & she.

@YouTube In the future we'll have false crime statistics & it will appear as if female violence is rising.

Sex is a protected characteristic, sex not gender. Gender is a social construct.

Our sex is the reason women are far more oppressed than men, always have been and continue to be so

@YouTube , it's the reason for femicide, for FGM, for lower pay the reason our husbands could legally rape us until the 80’s, the reason we had to fight for the right to compete in sports, to vote, to go into bars, to have public toilets, go to university, play sports, wear trousers,

@YouTube to exhibit our arts & crafts, to write books, to join the armed forces, the Police, the fire service.
Our sex is the reason we need safeguards in place.

@YouTube Single sex facilities are there for a reason, they are there to safeguard women and children, they are there so that women of faith like Jewish and Muslim women can use male free environments in line with their faith.

@YouTube Our politicians are advocating for men to be recognised in law as women on nothing more than a man's say so, they want to allow men into all women's spaces.
Into spaces where women are at their most vulnerable like hospital wards, prisons, toilets refuges.

@YouTube Women’s rights are not only being eliminated, but the right to be a woman, is being extended to men.
This Orwellian madness has to stop.

This is about the safety of women & girls not the feelings of men.
I'm not willing to give away the few hard earned rights

The whole concept of men feeling like women is insulting, sexist and misogynistic; we are individuals not a feeling in a man’s head.

Why is not ok for women like me to defend my rights, yet it’s deemed ok for men who feel like women to take them?

I don't give a dam what someone wants to call themselves or how they want to dress,

@YouTube I do however care when they try to force their ideology on others and strip the rights of women and girls while shouting from the roof tops about their own rights. Its pure hypocrisy.

@YouTube This is 2019 & women's rights are being erased at an alarming rate, girls in school are avoiding going to the toilet because so many of them are gender neutral, can you imagine being a teenage girl trying to change your sanitary towel

@YouTube or even urinate with teenage boys in the same room, it's degrading.

The transgender lobby are coming into schools with their literature & lessons telling children as young as 5 that they can literally change sex.

@YouTube I've got three children, they're all totally different & all know you can't change sex. Neither do they buy in to the blue pink gender box.

My 10 year old son has long hair & loves his soft toys, when he was three his very favourite toys were a pushchair & a monkey.

@YouTube He pushed his monkey everywhere in that pushchair until he got too big for it. He also wore monkey in a doll sling to nursery, often accompanied by a range of multi coloured nail varnish on his nails.

@YouTube At no point did I think 'Oh my son loves his pushchair, dressing up & nail varnish, he must actual be a girl!' I didn't think that any more than I would come to the conclusion that a man with long hair or with his child in a pushchair must be a woman.

@YouTube Or a girl with short hair playing football must be a boy trapped in the wrong body,
yet these superficial things are the criteria for transing kids.

Between the ages of three & 7 my son actually wanted to be Yoda.

@YouTube Had I as his adult told him that he literally could become Yoda when he grew up, he would have believed me. He would have believed me because children totally & unconditional trust the significant adults in their lives. He would gladly have taken any pill given to become Yoda.

@YouTube To tell children they can change sex is a lie, they cannot change sex or become their favourite character, it is an absolute breach of the trust a child holds for an adult & it's abuse.

How can any adult think it's ok to sell children this huge lie?

@YouTube How can any adult push them down the path of life long pharmacy, brittle bones, double mastectomy, castration etc.

My children haven't grown into bigoted ignorant people because I tell them the truth & teach them that sex like colour is immutable, in fact it's quite the opposite

@YouTube they are some of the most tolerant people I know who actively challenge outdated, sexist gender roles.

If you wouldn't lie to your child & tell them that they can become Yoda, batman, wonder woman or anyone else they want to be when they grow up why on earth

This is the reason I'm gender critical, it's so superficial. The whole trans ideology hinges on nothing more than society's accepted view of 'gender'

Children are vulnerable & totally reliant on the adults around them. They trust & believe what they are told.
They need the truth & they need protecting from something they cannot comprehend

If you take away the accepted stereotypes of women like dresses, make up, long hair etc. What have you got left to 'trans'?

No one can possibly know how it feels to be another sex, it's physically impossible. Women & girls are individuals as are men & boys.

@YouTube The mermaids criteria for transing children is based on gender stereotypes, it's terrifying.
I'm doing nothing more here than stating obvious truths, common sense even.

@YouTube Yet something as simple as stating biological facts or the definition of woman has become a revolutionary act, an offence, a hate crime, transphobic, non inclusive etc etc

@YouTube Women & girls are being, coersed, forced, threatened & gaslit into using terms like 'male bodied' 'transwomen' she, her when talking about men.
This is the language of domestic violence, the language of the perpetrators.

@YouTube We as Women must not become victims through language, as women we must refuse to accept the language these men are forcing on us.
Anyone who is advocating for the inclusion of men in the same spaces as teenage girls & the erasure of safeguards under the guise of some

It's 2019 & men who wear woman face have more protection than women.
It's time for us all to stand up and get out of our comfort zones before it's too late.

@YouTube If we cannot define women as adult human females, as she as her as a biological sex class what will the word woman mean?

How will we protect our sex based rights if we have no descriptive language?
If we stand by and allow men to appropriate womanhood

In 2017 I started speaking out on social media as Rad fem Pirate.
2018 was the year I went out wearing T-shirts and fake beards leafleting total strangers with my two children in tow for women and children,

@YouTube inspired by the women of the man Friday campaign, women like Posie Parker, Hanna Clark, Venice Allen, Julia Long, Meghan Murphy and in particular the incredibly strong Magdalene Burns.

I came here today proudly wearing a T-shirt that states the definition of women.

@YouTube I wear this T-shirt because I don’t want to be on a ward in a vulnerable state after an operation with a man pretending to be a women in the bed next to mine, I wear it for all the young girls having their breast removed,

@YouTube I wear it for the future of women’s sports, I wear it for all the children being sold a horrifying lie, I wear it for women’s rights, I wear it for my daughters and my granddaughter, I wear it for all the women and children in refuges,

@YouTube I wear it because I refuse to lie, I refuse to be silent, I refuse to be gaslight, I wear it because it needs to be worn.

I wear this T-shirt because of Posie Parker, because of an ordinary woman who cared enough to do something extraordinary,

@YouTube a woman who wasn’t content to simply sit down and look the other way a woman who refused to be silent. A woman who along with many others has been banned permanently from Twitter & Facebook for speaking the truth.

@YouTube We all owe it to the women who went before us and the women of the future to speak up now before it’s too late.
