You have to admire the sheer chuzpah of causing Labour’s biggest loss since 1935 then writing an article which includes the sentences “there is no doubt our policies are popular” and “patronising [voters] will not win then over” in close proximity theguardian.com/politics/2019/…
It’s just so arrogant. There are no positives here. Labour was absolutely thumped in an election where the stakes couldn’t have been higher for progressive causes. This is Trump-level yuge and bizarre behaviour
