I read the petition, trust me most Indian will laugh at it. One (just like me) doesn’t even need to be an RSS member or a Hindu to tear it apart. Let's consider it.

3/n “RSS Founded in 1925” this is correct.
'RSS took...inspiration from... fascist...of the 1920-1940s..Nazi Party'
This is utterly amusing. I am not sure, if he is trying to relate the time of founding of RSS and fascist movement. If so, I pity. Let’s check otherwise instance.

4/n This wrong opinion is infested by utter ignorance. He has no idea about, glorious history of Porus, Shivaji, Maharana Pratap, Prithvi Raj Chauhan, and the relatively contemporary to advent of RSS, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Jyotiba Phule, Dayanand Sarswati, Raja RamMohan Roy.

5/n I can go on, public Ganesh Festivals, social reforms, and political struggle etc. These laid ground work, much before Mussolini and Hitler were even born, that culminated in RSS. To argue one quoted statement as endorsement is utter idiotic, much less worthy of attention.

6/n Equating RSS and fascist organization is ludicrous and ridiculous, because the founding principles of both are diagonally opposite. The fascism is based on exclusionist and supremacist ideas whereas RSS is founded on rather inclusive idea of Hinduness. Westerns don’t get it.

7/n Westerners end up confusing Hinduness with Hindu Religion. Hinduness, for your ease loosely, may be compared to Americanness, according to which despite diversity in race, color, religion, etc Americans agree the basic tenet laid in the constitution “all men created equal”.

8/n Westerns fail to comprehend the distinction of Hinduness and Hindu Religion because of appreciating a way-of-life as a religion. Which it is not.

Take e.g. Muslim Majority Bangladesh and Indonesia, Durga Puja or Ganesha on currency note do not make these countries, Hindu.

Actually, Indian way of living synchronizes many contradictions in a seamless melodious symphony.

10/n E.g. some may believe in one God, others in many, and some others in none- and still coexists. No one God, no one Messenger, no one Book, no one Hell or Heaven either. No one has exclusivity, while each has his unshared concept. How to define something like that a religion?

11/n How could all these contradictions exist in one religion? Defining Hindu as a Religion, is therefore a Mistake. It is just as much a mistake as it is to identify Bangladesh or Indonesia as "so called Hindu" because they demonstrate Hinduness in way of life.

In 2020 Indian military is about 1.5 Mil. men despite this parity, India for almost all its independent life was ruled by anti-RSS Governments.

15/n Author says, RSS co-founder BS Moonje met Mussolini in Rome 1931.

So did Gandhi, Chamberlain, Churchill, Chief Justice Charles Evans Hughes who served as Warren G. Harding’s secretary of state.

What are you trying, guilt by association? This is height of absurdity.

16/n Author says, RSS co-founder said India needs military regeneration. So what the point? Which country doesn't, especially when colonial powers are retreating? Even otherwise, FDR, Churchill, Stalin co-operated. Indian Hero Subhash Bose and Hitler raised army to fight Brits.

17/n Herbert Hoover and Chamberlain met Adolf Hitler too. More so Gandhi says about Mussolini: “I admit an iron hand is there” but “Many of [Mussolini’s] reforms attract me”. “He seems to have done much for the peasant class”, [he is]“one of the great statesmen of our time".[1]

18/n I can go on. By Authors’ logic, all Gandhi, Chamberlain, Churchill, Hughes, Harding, Hoover etc. are fascist. So long as “Hindu Indian regeneration Military is concerned”, I have explained what Hindu means above. Now I shall discuss, if Hindu meant what Author understood.

19/n Assuming but not admitting, if Hindu Indian were to be considered those (Buddh, Sikh, Jain, Parsi, Jew etc) excluding Muslims, even then, some may argue the military regeneration of Hindu is reasonable in view of division of country was being demanded on religious lines.

20/n Funny is the Author is scared of the RSS uniform as it resemblances with uniform of Hitler Youth. Well then you must be scared by early Indian National Congresses’, recent Government School, and boys scouts' uniform as well for the same reason. They are similar.

21/n About, Golwalkar’s remarks on Race Purity, glorifying Hindu Race etc, for once these remarks must be seen in context. Even otherwise, term Hindu is explained above, and what do you glorify in a country ruled by white skinned Brits and marred with utter inferiority? Brits?

22/n About 2019 report: What is the credibility, which sources relied on and what agenda of RSS refereed by the report? Agenda of social work, education, disaster relief? Alienating majority of "So called Hindus”, as lower class is rather suicidal for RSS. This is utter nonsense!

23/n Gandhi Murder by RSS member is a lie. No link has ever been established. In fact RSS condemned assassination. This is like blaming pope for assassinating Lincoln as JW Booth attended Papal ceremony or Marine Corps for Kennedy assassination as Oswald was a Marine.

24/n What is important is to note that millions were killed because of the partition. Serious sense of betrayal prevailed in India against Gandhi. Despite Serious threat to Gandhi's life his security was not strengthen, one could argue Establishments' involvement.

25/n Reading scholarly books of the assassin makes it difficult to associate him with heinous crime against Mahatma Gandhi. This strengthen claim that he was rather exploited and taken for ride by someone within the establishment, who found dead Gandhi more valuable than alive.

26/n Regarding riot claims:Author demonstrates utter ignorance and foolishness, e.g. assassination of Mrs. Ganghi preceded 1984 Sikh Riots, Congress leaders are convicted. Nellie Massacre was reaction of indigenous against illegal immigrants (Hindus and Muslims) of Bangladesh.

27/n In 1947 riots were rather a norm than exception. Further numbers are exaggerated and selectively picked to suit absurd argument. Dead non-Muslims, causes of riots and 500,000 Kashmiri Pandit (1989) etc are ignored to make a case. Such absurdity doesn’t even need a response.

28/n Even one death in a riot is one too many. However, while considering such incidences, instead of absolute numbers one must account for deaths/100,000. If done so, it is likely the Indian riots would turn out to be less deadly than America gun violence and school shootings.

29/n Numbers must be considered carefully. Because, e.g. in America, even 20 people make a city, whereas 20,000 will only make at best a hamlet in India. Casualty of 200 in America is vanishing of 10 cities. Thus, numbers are misleading, let alone selectively picked false ones.

30/30 Anyhow, I dont know who @FriedrichPieter is, but his petition shows he is an ideologue, does a sloppy job, I bet he may be pretending as an expert. An expert who can be junked by a noby like me.
